Description:

From a series of plaques produced by Scott's of Sunderland, after the sketches of the Rev Thomas Jackson in his book 'Our Dumb Companions'. The decorated transfer shows 'Old Jack the donkey and his master Joe'. The orange lustre applied to the wide, relief moulded borders all but completely faded which adds to the sweet charm of this wonderful piece.

Circa 1865

Approx 9 inches (230mm) wide x 8 inches (200mm) tall.

In very good condition throughout.
